VSP Direct is recommended to merchants who wish to keep customers on their own website for the entire transaction process and/or who wish to create their own customised reports. This system is suitable for merchants who wish to integrate a payment system into existing back office payment software such as a call centre.

To use VSP Direct you will need:

• A website: You will need to develop your website up to the point where the final amount is calculated. Our integration kits can help you or your web developer to do this
• A merchant account with Lloyds TSB Cardnet: Please click here for information about Lloyds TSB Cardnet.
• A fixed IP Address or a fixed range of IP addresses
• A 128-bit digital certificate to secure the transaction details collected on your website
• Certification under the PCI audit. As credit card details are collected by you and not by Protx, you may be required to undergo an audit to ensure that credit card data is kept secure.
